
Shelbi Guions

Shelbi Guions is a dynamic dance artist, choreographer, and educator based in North Carolina. She began dancing at the age of three and trained and competed nationally throughout her youth. Shelbi holds a BFA in Choreography and Performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
Her professional work includes choreography for a 2025 NBA Charlotte Hornets preseason game, UNC Greensboro’s Dance Team, North Carolina A&T State University’s Dance Team, and award-winning pieces for the Dancing With the Little Pink Stars Gala, benefiting Little Pink Houses of Hope. Shelbi has served as dance faculty for studios across the Triad region and as a guest choreographer in 2025 for Weaver Academy, Greensboro’s premier arts school, as well as for numerous studios across North Carolina. She also served as the resident musical theatre choreographer at New Garden Friends School, most recently choreographing Elf the Musical.
Skilled in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, acro, modern, and release technique, Shelbi is passionate about training collegiate and pre-professional dancers and is excited to continue her work as a new resident of the Wilmington dance community.
