Lyrical

Lyrical classes are available for ages 8 to 18 years.

This style is a combination of jazz and ballet where the dancers try to convey the meaning of the lyrics in a song. The movements are often more literal, and the movement describes the lyrics. Students are required to take ballet classes to better understand and execute the steps properly. This class is offered for dancer’s 3rd grade and up.

All girls attending the class must wear the following:

• leotard

• footless/convertible tights of any color

• Half Soles (matched to skin tone)

Boys

All boys attending the class must wear the following:

• fitted shirt

• dance pants

• Half Soles (matched to skin tone)
