
Ryan DeFranco

Ryan DeFranco grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where he began dancing at the age of three training in styles Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, and Musical Theater. Ryan has studied dance under the direction of Penny Koza-Lemansky; Dance Masters of America National President and has studied under the direction of Yoav Kaddar and General McArthur Hambrick at West Virginia University. Ryan has been awarded many scholarships and titles including Mr. Starquest 2019 where he received a scholarship to train at Broadway Dance Center in New York and a Fuzion Dance Scholarship to train in Chicago, Illinois. Ryan has taken classes with many professionals including Casey Gonzo, Amanda Welch, and Daniel Karasik. Ryan is a recent graduate of West Virginia University where he received degrees both in Dance and Nursing. Ryan currently resides outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he continues to teach and choreograph in the field of dance, and work as a healthcare professional.
